Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp believes that Neymar's record-breaking transfer to Paris Saint-Germain is a gamechanger which will force clubs to review the buy-out clauses in the contracts of their star players. Klopp explained to German media today: “It’s quite simple. Up until now, these kinds of transfer seemed impossible. Look at the buy-out clauses which Barcelona players have – Leo Messi: 300 million. An now, in less than a month, buying him now looks feasible. It’s a scandalous amount which they probably set thinking it would deter other clubs – who’s going to pay 300 million? But now anything seems possible”.
