Arsenal under Arsene Wenger have pulled many players up from the club's youth academy. This season has seen more minute for Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who debuted last year with the Gunners. He also allowed goalkeeper Matt Macey to play in the Europa League along with bringing Konstantinos Macropanos with the first team. But there is a player who also made his debut with the Gunners this season and has some of Europe's biggest clubs looking towards London including Real Madrid, according to the Evening Standard.
His name is Reiss Nelson. The 18-year-old has played in every Europa League game this season except for the last one against Milan. The versatile winger can play anywhere on the right wing. He can also play centrally and has even played on the left-hand side.
He has played in all of the underage categories for England and is known for his speed and his ability in one-on-one situations. All of these traits have led to interest from Real Madrid and Monaco as his contract ends in the summer of 2019 although Arsenal are keen to not let one of their homegrown players leave for a big club. The latest was Marcus McGuane, who left Arsenal for Barcelona B and made his debut with the first team in the Catalan Super Cup.
In London, they think he is the best player to leave the academy since Jack Wilshere and they do not wanted him to leave and will make an effort to renew his contact before offers start to arrive. He is currently rated at around €33 million.
